Taseer Badar
Chief Executive Officer

Before he began his outstanding career, Taseer Badar was a young man with an incredible vision—to make his mark on the world. After graduating from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Finance, Taseer became a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley. That valuable experience fueled his desire to break out on his own. In 1997, he brought his entrepreneurial vision to life and developed ZT Wealth, a wealth management platform that builds, acquires and sustains its own private investments. Taseer’s unique business model has had proven success for employees and clientele alike, and the growth only continues. Why? Because Taseer does what others believe is impossible and he always keeps his word. He takes unrealized business propositions and structures, adds ZT Wealth’s superior management model, and creates solid, viable financial ventures. In doing so, he protects his investors’ assets and provides them with reliable information and results. As co-founder of Altus Health, a network of health facilities owned and managed by ZT Wealth, Taseer has created an "Empowering Physicians" model that enables an entire network of doctors to provide advanced levels of patient treatment. With ZT Wealth’s involvement, Altus Health has developed several successful medical centers in southeast Texas that focus on cancer treatment, diagnostic imaging, ambulatory surgeries, sleep studies and hospice care.

Under Taseer’s leadership, ZT Wealth has been named to the Aggie 100 (2007-2013), which recognizes the fastest-growing companies worldwide that are led or owned by a Texas A&M graduate, the Houston Business Journal’s Fast 100 (2012 & 2013) and Inc.com’s 500/5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America (2012 & 2013). Taseer has also been recognized for his successful entrepreneurism with many awards, including the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Association’s George Bush Award (2013), Pakistani Entrepreneur of the Year (2012), Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (2012 & 2013), Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 (2012) and the Top 50 Asian Americans in Business Award (2012). Taseer is humbled by these achievements and looks forward to continued success and recognition for ZT Wealth.

Taseer relies on his experience, leadership and keen sense of responsibility to ensure that his clients are professionally successful, going so far as to blend his work with his personal life. It’s not unusual for Taseer to be working well into the night with his team of advisors. Taseer’s work ethic is infectious. He leads a team of entrepreneurial spirits who collaborate to build a new financial empire where dreams can be made into reality. Taseer is a proud Pakistani-American with a deep connection to his roots. He’s made it his philanthropic mission to increase education and literacy in Pakistan through the Developments in Literacy foundation. Taseer also contributes to organizations such as The Rose, a non-profit organization for women with breast cancer. Taseer’s philanthropy inspired him to create his own organization, The Altus Foundation, which provides healthcare for the underprivileged and uninsured. Taseer Badar is a man of many talents with one goal: to create a life of personal and professional success for his family, his colleagues, and most importantly, his clientele. Having grown up in Humble, TX, Taseer will never forget where he came from or the people that helped him along the way. Now that he’s embraced the heart of the metropolitan life, he looks forward to an even more exciting future.
